Keto Breakfast Pancakes
How about a feel-good low carb breakfast? The recipe is super easy and the pancakes can last a few days in the fridge.
4 eggs (preferably organic, free range)
1 and 1/4 cup chestnut flour (You can also mix chestnut and almond flour if you prefer)
Slices of two medium apples
1 teaspoon of maple syrup
1 nut of ghee
1 pinch of salt
Add all the ingredients except from the ghee and apples to a mixer. Mix until smooth consistency is reached.
Add apple slices to the mix.
Place the ghee in a pan at low - medium heat. Once the ghee is melted, pour some of the mix on the pan and start making the pancake. The amount on the mix will depend on the size of the pancake that you want to make. We suggest 3 to 4 tablespoons of mix for 1 pancake.
The make will make 5 to 8 pancakes.
